The artist
Creating art provides me with an outlet for my emotions. I’m often inspired by challenging life events, sadness, shame and loneliness. The beauty and quietness shown in my pieces represent the hope I feel. Depending on my personal state of being, my art can often be a quick execution, finished in one sitting or an evolving piece taking up to a year to complete. Creating art is a fundamental life line for me, often pulling me from the depths of my darkness and placing me back into the light.
